About New Way Photography

Hi, I’m Mandy, the heart behind New Way Photography!
With my patient and passionate approach, I specialise in Newborn, Baby Cake Smash, and Maternity photography, capturing the beauty of every stage of life. I also offer product photography, business branding, and event photography, helping individuals and companies tell their unique stories through imagery. In the past I have featured some of my creations in exhibitions, exploring cultural identity. A product that originally developed from an art project are the woven prints that I now offer to the wider community.
 

Photography has been a lifelong passion, sparked by my father at a young age. I refined my craft through film photography in high school and later digitally at university. My experience in commercial photography - fashion, footwear, handbags, accessories, children’s, and maternity wear - combined with my background in printing and custom framing has given me a deep understanding of visual storytelling.

Growing up as the second eldest of 10 siblings, I’ve developed an abundance of patience and a natural ability to connect with people of all ages. I love working with children and helping adults feel at ease in front of the camera—because the best photos come from genuine, relaxed moments.
